ATOM readers, supplied through Ineltro in Austria, automatically capture images of identity documents under multiple wavelengths of light and simultaneously extract data from the machine-readable area using optical recognition of characters. High-resolution color, infrared and ultraviolet images are used by electronic identity document validation technology to instantly verify document authenticity. The NFC functionality allows the device’s API to access RFID chips from electronic passports and electronic identity cards to provide digital personal data and a biometric image, and to perform basic security checks on the device. document.
