Irvine, CA, April 25, 2002 – CardLogix, the leading U.S. based provider of smart card security technology platforms, announced today that Thomas W. Seykora has been named president and chief executive officer. Emil Nastri co-founder passes the reigns of President and CEO to Tom Seykora, CardLogix current CFO. Mr. Nastri, as Vice President of Sales, will head the company’s sales efforts.
In his executive role, Seykora, who has been with CardLogix since 2000 as chief financial officer, will focus on strategic business planning, developing key customer and partner relationships and identifying growth opportunities for CardLogix. Seykora will retain the title of chief financial officer. He reports to Walter K. Lim, Chairman of the Board of CardLogix.

Prior to joining CardLogix in 2000, Seykora was CFO of Litronic, also in the smart card security business. His experience includes KPMG LLP, Senior Manager, and military service as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Captain. Seykora holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
