The Identiv uTrust 3720 F 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz Multi-Technology Smart Card Reader/Writer* integrates dual frequency/ multi-ISO (ISO/IEC14443, ISO/IEC15693 and ISO/IEC 18092 NFC) contactless interface capabilities for a wide variety of identification applications. Supporting 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz contactless technology, this PC-linked reader works in end-user environments where virtually all types of contactless credentials are used — including legacy ID cards — even in mixed populations.

The uTrust 3720F is compatible with with a wide range of technologies such as Java Card, MIFARE, MOST Card, Proximity, MULTOS and Calypso cards.

The Identiv driver platform and Windows® Plug-and-Play driver support allow seamless integration into any end-user environment with very little or no administration. uTrust 3720 F (HF+LF) can even be used with Android-based solutions.

A unique reader serial number enables the uTrust 3720 F to be plugged into any USB slot on a PC without having to re-install the driver. Additionally, the application S/W running on the host can check for exact readers.

Identiv-powered SmartOS™ in-field upgradeable firmware makes uTrust 3720 F (HF+LF) a secure, forward-looking investment, providing both flexibility and fast time-to-market for new products and applications, as well as minimum risk linked to the evolution of technology standards. Ideal applications include electronic identification and e-passport, e-banking, and e-commerce.

Need Keyboard Emulation?

No problem, we’ve got you covered. Through an optional tray app in Windows OS, it can read the unique identifier (UID) and chip serial number (CSN) of any passive RFID tag and insert it as a string in any host app. This keyboard emulation supports ISO 14443, MIFARE Classic 1K/4K, Ultralight, Ultralight C, DESFire, DESFire EV1, EV2 and EV3, NTAG 203, and Broadcom Topaz tags.
