ActivClient

ActivClient middleware is smart card software that enables computer applications to talk to the computer chip on the HHS smart card ID badge. ActivClient is licensed by HHS for use by NIH smart card badge holders. The ActivClient license is per badge, not per computer. You may install ActivClient on any computer where you need to use your smart card for login, digital signatures or encrypted email.

ActivClient was developed by ActivIdentity (formally ActivCard) and was acquired by HID Global in 2010.
