Amsterdam, November 9, 2004 – Axalto, the world’s leader in microprocessor cards today announced that its M/Chip 4.0 application on Cyberflex Palmera™ cards has received the M/Chip 4.0 functional and security approval from MasterCard International.

Cyberflex Palmera™ cards are the first Java cards on which the MasterCard International M/Chip 4.0 functional and security approvals have been obtained. This achievement illustrates the technical excellence of Axalto and its commitment to deliver superior products to its clients.
