Datastrip Handheld Reader Selected As Mobile Solution To Integrate With Tyco International’s Software House Access Control System

October 23, 2008 — Datastrip Inc., a world-leading provider of field-proven mobile identification and verification technology, has been selected by Tyco International’s Software House to create a mobile solution for the C•CURE 9000 security and event management system. The new C•CURE Mobile integrates Datastrip’s DSVII SC handheld biometric terminal with C•CURE 9000 to expand access control boundaries beyond a facility’s wired infrastructure.

Datastrip’s DSVII-SC provides C•CURE 9000 with a wireless reader that doesn’t need to be tethered to a system to create entry portals anywhere they are required, in a building or at an event. This includes entry points separated from the access control door controller, server or workstation. The DSVII-SC reads access control card formats, including MIFARE, HID Proximity Access Control cards and HID iCLASS cards.
