Jupiter, FL, July 25, 2011:  Vision Database Systems Inc, (VDS) a premier developer of mobile ID card tracking solutions, today announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Datastrip, Inc., a leading maker of mobile handhelds for the ID market, to represent Datastrip in the US. As part of the agreement Vision Database Systems will warehouse all inventory, process orders, handle marketing and sales, and will tech support the existing installed base and all future sales for  Datastrip in the US.

Steve Blackmore, Managing Director of Datastrip, said “We are delighted to have encountered such an enthusiastic partner in Vision Database Systems, who are able to represent us strongly in the US, and are able to expand our product line.” As part of the agreement, all inventory and order provisioning will be moved from Shelton, CT to VDS partner, Screencheck North America (official licensee of Polaroid ) of Ft Wayne, Indiana, and all marketing, sales, and tech support will be provided to new and existing Datastrip accounts from VDS’ headquarters in Jupiter, FL.

Datastrip will retain its existing facilities and resources at its headquarters in the UK, and will continue its successful promotion to the commercial space in Europe, and the emerging markets in Dubai and the Far East.

Vision Database Systems’ popular mobile product PockeTracker is used to log individuals in and out of secure areas, and delivers secure ID information including the ID photo. With its companion software, the Pocketracker Gateway, Pocketracker can interface to any ODBC compliant database which includes nearly every ID software, access control, or company ID database.  Target markets include college campuses that use it for athletics, busing and security as well as government agencies, corporations, arenas, construction, and other markets requiring mobile ID solutions. With Datastrip and VDS turnkey solutions, hardware and software will come together with outstanding offerings for the government and commercial markets requiring high end security. In addition to its own software, VDS will actively promote the software provided by all associated software currently sold by Datastrip including its numerous OEM accounts.
