Paris, France, 6 September 2016 – Today FAMOCO, the leader of secure Android devices, announced the launch of two new NFC readers, the FX200 and FX300, to complement the existing FX100. With strong growth internationally, FAMOCO is now present in 25 countries and has deployed more than 60,000 units in just 2 ½ years. With this new product range, FAMOCO plans to conquer new markets and equip thousands of users worldwide.
Mobile business applications are booming. Companies require secure devices that are remotely managed to protect their data and reduce operational costs. FAMOCO targets the transportation, cashless payment, logistics and access control markets to equip mobile agents. Among the main features of these two new products: The FX200 features a 4.5 inch screen, perfect for data collection and business applications, while the FX300 is a ruggedized device (IP67) with integrated barcode scanner.
The two new devices open FAMOCO to new markets. The FX300 specifically targets transportation and logistics, while the versatility of the FX200 means it can be used to equip mobile workers in the fields of hospitality and home care services, as well as field service technicians.
“The success of the FX100 has confirmed the need for dedicated and secure Android devices.” said Lionel Baraban, Co-Founder and CEO, FAMOCO. “We decided to expand our range to best meet the needs of our clients, which will in turn allow us to target the transportation and logistics markets and equip their mobile workers.”
The FAMOCO devices are the only ones available on the market that integrate smart card security coupled with a secure version of Android. This ensures data integrity and protects against viruses and attacks which are increasingly common on Android. The devices are managed remotely through a SaaS platform for easy deployment and simplified operational management.

FX300:
The FX300 is a ruggedized device that integrates a barcode scanner and NFC antenna. Its sturdy format and easy grip has been designed for continuous use by field workers.
