As a pioneer in the biometrics industry, Greenbit was established in 1997. It designed and provided one of the fingerprint access control solutions with native comparison: DSU203. Only two years apart, with its strategic focus and investment in research and development, Greenbit launched its first biometric solution for the police field, and won the global bidding by the Italian police agency and won the bid. The product is VisaScan3.
Following the progress brought by the investment in the research and development field and the release of DSU203, Greenbit further increased its investment in the research and development field. As of today, Greenbit has become one of the few outstanding players in the global biometric field. It has rich expertise and industry experience in designing and manufacturing a full range of fingerprint products from fingerprints to palm prints that meet FBI and GA standards.
In the 20 years of its establishment and development, with its headquarters in Turin, northern Italy, the company has gradually expanded its business to the world, and now it has fully served the global market. At present, Greenbit has established companies in the United States (Greenbit America), China (Greenbit Tianjin) and Kazakhstan (Greenbit Kazakhstan).
Today, Greenbit’s products have been sold to more than 150 customers in more than 60 countries around the world through its extensive network of cooperative sales companies and sales representatives.
