July 13, 2017 — TESSIS, together with Gemalto, is announcing the emergence on the Russian market of a new major version of life-cycle management software for electronic keys from Gemalto, SafeNet Authentication Manager 9.0 (SAM 9.0). Thanks to this solution, users of IT services will get access to new functionalities, such as:
• support of all keys of SafeNet eToken line and IDPrime MD (Minidriver) smart cards, including authenticated authenticators
• support for the new operating system Microsoft Windows Server 2016
• optimized user interface in all system components
SafeNet Authentication Manager (SAM) provides a single comprehensive platform for managing the lifecycle of authentication devices across a company. Gemalto’s SAM solution provides a new range of strong authentication capabilities in the cloud structures of companies using public key infrastructure (PKI). Also, the use of SAM provides for the issuance of digital certificates to mobile devices of employees of the enterprise.The system supports all existing eToken device models.
Using the SAM solution helps to optimize the company’s expenses due to the automation of typical operations, such as issuing and personalizing smart cards and USB keys, removing the password lock, updating certificates in self-service via the web interface, reducing administrators’ labor costs by shifting some operations user (self-service portal allows the user to perform typical operations on their own without the involvement of the administrator).
