The SafeNet IDPrime 940C is a contact interface smart card and the SafeNet IDPrime 3940C is a dual-interface smart card, allowing communication either via a contact interface or via a contactless ISO14443 interface.
SafeNet IDPrime smart cards are PKI certificate-based smart cards (X509 certificate) that provide a high level of assurance of the identity of the user attempting to gain logical access to the network.
SafeNet IDPrime devices are built with proven smart card technology. Strong, yet simple, they can help fully protect access to the network without burdening users with long, complicated passwords or cumbersome hardware devices. SafeNet IDPrime 940C/3940C offer the latest in cryptographic security and updated certifications, including CC, eIDAS and eSeal. These smart cards offer high CC standard security level in operating system (EAL6+) and applet (EAL5+).SafeNet IDPrime 940C/3940C provide a perfect integration in Windows environment up to Windows 11. The supporting middleware for SafeNet IDPrime 940C/3940C is SafeNet Authentication Client 10.8 R8 onward.
