CardLogix and Fulcrum Biometics will present a live demonstration of CardLogix’ IDBX™ Multi-Modal Biometric Smart Card Issuance System.
They will also showcase CardLogix’ BIOSID™ Tablet for biometric identity verification, compatible with IDBX-issued smart cards.
Attendees can stop by booth B19 to get a complimentary, personalized smart card for luggage tags while learning how smart cards with biometric digital identities can be issued quickly and cost-effectively.
This news follows CardLogix’ recent announcement for their new line of pre-configured bundles that let resellers, systems integrators, and card issuers jump start their identity system deployments. The solution does not require any custom programming, although it can be customized as needed.
“Having a working off-the-shelf solution that can be delivered, demonstrated, and used right away is invaluable to those that need to get their systems up and running fast and cost-effectively,” stated Tom Hope, Director of Sales at CardLogix. “We’re looking forward to demonstrating how quickly biometric smart cards can be issued at ID4Africa.”
According to CardLogix, a user can capture a person’s face, fingerprints, irises, signature, and biographic information then encode and print that information to a contact or contactless smart card in a matter of minutes. Before issuing the card holder’s credential, his or her digital identity is also quickly verified with included computer and mobile device solutions.
The solution is also cost-effective. According to CardLogix, customers are paying significantly higher prices than necessary while waiting too long for made-to-order solutions from large systems integrators. Meanwhile, the IDBX system is pre-developed after years in the making to meet a wide variety of needs, saving customers at least 10,000 USD and several months for a single station system.
The solution is supported by the idblox Identity Ecosystem, a standard for multi-vendor data interoperability and international identity standards.
