Even with its slim form factor, the SCL3711’s dimensions have been optimized to ensure the best RF performance possible. The state of the art multi-protocol feature set of SCL3711 qualifies it to be used in a wide range of applications such as payment, loyalty, and ID programs, and to enable devices with NFC connectivity.
Identiv’s SCL3711 Contactless USB Smart Card Reader is ultra-compact and supports ISO-14443 Type A and B smart cards and NFC-enabled devices. The SCL3711 can be supported by Identiv’s middleware (which resides above the PC/SC API) and offers better portability of applications and abstraction of smart card related details that need to be handled by applications developed on top of the PC/SC API.
