Matica ILM & Ilu 1.0mils Alternating Clear Patch Ribbon (DIC10189) with Contact Chip and Mag stripe cut-outs have been rigorously quality-tested to make sure they work just when you need them. The clear patch laminates packaging can easily be read and displays multilingual information on the type, part number and storing conditions for the the Matica ILM & Ilu modules. It will consistently laminate over your printed plastic cards. The Matica ILM & Ilu line of lamination units are compatible with the XID8100, XID8300, & XID8600 line of retransfer card printers.

These lamination patches DO have cut-outs for Contact Chips and for Magnetic Stripes (Mag)
The Contact chip cut-out is for the front of the card and the Mag cut-out is for the back of the card
This item will not work with the ILM-LS or ILM-DS

Technical features:
The color ribbon is polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with thin layer of specialized coating. The concentration of colorant is very low and they are insoluble in water. In the printing process they only diffuse at temperature above 50°C
Storage Information:
These ribbons shall be capable of functioning for up to 1 year after purchase if stored in a cool, dry environment and having remained unopened from the original packaging. Temperature of storage must be between 5-25°C and at RH between 50-70%.Once opened these ribbons shall have a lifetime of 3 months if stored under cool, dry conditions. For all these ribbons, avoid dust, direct sunlight, high humidity and high temperatures. Do not place near solvent or other chemicals.
