Suprema ID BioMini Combo (BMC-LFD) fingerprint scanner is designed to provide two-factor authentication solutions combining fingerprint and contact smartcards verification capability. In addition to fingerprint authentication, the scanner also supports contact smartcards. Moreover, advanced Live Finger Detection (LFD) technology enhances security level and makes BioMini Combo a secure multi-modal authentication platform. With the recently added Android support, BioMini Combo is now compatible with wide range of Android-based mobile devices including smartphones, tablets and PDAs. Android compatibility will allow users simpler operation without PC and provides greater versatility with custom-made Android apps for ID projects including electronic ID and e-government applications.
BioMini Combo supports contact smartcards with optional SAM slot. Combined with fingerprint sensor, the scanner provides capability for two factor authentication for versatile security solution applications.
BioMini Combo can acquire fingerprint regardless of external light or fingerprint conditions, applying Suprema’s proprietary MDR technology, an improvement on existing HDR technology. It can get normal fingerprints even under 100,000 LUX direct light, which is equivalent to direct sunlight.
Packed in an ergonomic design, it features Suprema’s latest slim 500dpi optical sensor with large platen size for easier capturing and contact smart card reader for stronger authentication. Combined with its comprehensive SDK solution, BioMini Combo offers superb hardware and software compatibility makes it an ideal platform for developers.
