Fingerprint Acquisition Profile FAP 30 is a level for optical capture devices that can be used for fingerprint capture. The FAP level is based upon device capture dimensions, the image quality specification applied, and the number of simultaneous fingers that can be captured. FAP-30 is when single fingers are to be used for AFIS search capability. FAP30 meets the PIV-071006 specification.
