READING, England – Access-IS, the leading provider of identity document readers, is pleased to announce the integration of its ATOM® document reader with the myACP casino management system from NOVOMATIC. The myACP modular system, combined with ATOM, can be tailored to meet the requirements of any casino operator and helps ensure compliance with most gaming regulations and laws.
The myACP system covers the requirements for a member’s admission. It quickly and easily processes the registration of player data: issuance of membership cards, optional vouchers for admission / activities within the casino, membership classification and detailed attendance report. At all customer touch points, simplicity and ease of use are key elements and this is where the ATOM reader keeps its promises. When a member places their identity document on the glass of the ATOM reader, it is scanned under multiple light sources, the printed data and the information on the chip are retrieved and transmitted to myACP; everything is done without the document leaving the hand of its owner.
ATOM readers, supplied through Ineltro in Austria, automatically capture images of identity documents under multiple wavelengths of light and simultaneously extract data from the machine-readable area using optical recognition of characters. High-resolution color, infrared and ultraviolet images are used by electronic identity document validation technology to instantly verify document authenticity. The NFC functionality allows the device’s API to access RFID chips from electronic passports and electronic identity cards to provide digital personal data and a biometric image, and to perform basic security checks on the device. document.

Due to its innovative ergonomic design, nearly 1,200 gambling establishments in more than 25 countries – from small arcades to large casinos – already trust this powerful tool. Based on the use of a highly protected internet connection based on a secure firewall and encryption, it uses a very secure data transfer protocol, provides full backup of database information and offers the possibility of ‘automated storage.
Speaking about the integration, Alexander Saam, Head of Casino Management Information Systems at NOVOMATIC, said: “We were looking for a reliable ID reader that also allows us to read MSR data. and chips from our players’ cards; ATOM met both of these requirements in a compact and stylish package. ”
